Gythion Bay Campsite restaurant.
Ma blonde and I, looked forward immensely to returning to this campsite. We were here two years ago and we ate at the restaurant often, even though I like to cook with my mobile kitchen next to our camping car! More of that later. Lorgos (we called him Giorgio...much easier to pronounce!) received us at the restaurant as old friends where we were invited to scan a QR code on the table to access the daily menu along with their Greek classics available everyday, for example Greek salad, saganaki, grilled feta, moussaka, taramasalata, and bouyiordi to name but a few! Their daily specials were always innovative. The souvlaki of octopus with caramelised red onions fried capers on a puree of fava beans was divine as was the beetroot risotto topped with crumbled feta, crushed nuts and diced green apple.
